The $917
million-asset company said in a press release Tuesday that Tom Zernick would be
responsible for coordinating First Home Bank’s various business lines and for overseeing
its delivery and support functions.
Zernick has
been president of CreditBench, the bank’s Small Business Administration lending
division, since 2016.
Anthony Leo
remains the bank’s CEO.
BayFirst
also said that Robin Oliver has been promoted to serve as the company’s chief
operating officer. She will remain BayFirst’s chief financial officer.
“It is my
great pleasure to announce these two promotions and acknowledge the exceptional
commitment and results both Tom and Robin have demonstrated over the course of
their careers at BayFirst,” Leo said in the release.
BayFirst
on Jan. 3 applied with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to convert
First Home Bank to a national banking association under the name BayFirst
National Bank.
